Hailing from the oldest Syrah vineyard in the Sierra Foothills our 2022 Syrah is a true mountain grown Rhone style Syrah. Ripe plum and black fig fruit in the entry with blueberry and blackberry notes coming into the mid-palate, all in balance with a subtle earthiness. The finish is layered with leather, violet, fresh marjoram, and a hint of clove. Pair with grilled lamb shanks with fresh herbs.
