Winery Overview

Operated by Alex and Josy, Golden Leaves Vineyard & Winery is a family-owned property on Omo Ranch Road in the Fair Play AVA. At approximately 2,350 feet, the vineyard supports Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot, Tempranillo, Petit Verdot and Petite Sirah, which the winery shapes into French- and Spanish-inspired wines using hand-sorted fruit and small-lot fermentation.

The tasting room and restaurant sit above the winery’s production facility, with an indoor dining room, an elegant bar, vineyard views and outdoor seating. Guests can combine a tasting with lunch, small plates or desserts, while reserved experiences may include paired flights, private dinners and seasonal events.

Before You Go

Expect a red-led portfolio with a noticeable emphasis on Tempranillo, Merlot, Petit Verdot and other French- and Spanish-associated varieties. Chardonnay, rosé, Zinfandel, blends and dessert wines broaden the selection beyond that core.

Allow time to consider the food options rather than treating the visit as a quick tasting-room stop. Walk-ins are welcome, but calling ahead is advisable on weekdays, for larger parties or when planning a paired or seated experience.
