Tom and Pamela Findleton operate this family winery in Camino, where estate Pinot Noir grows beside a creek at approximately 3,000 feet in well-drained, chalky soils. Winemaker Carrie Golden oversees a small-lot portfolio that extends beyond Pinot Noir to locally sourced Rhône, Bordeaux, Italian and Sierra Foothills varieties.
The Carson Road tasting room doubles as a gallery for Pamela Findleton’s original artwork, including the images created for the winery’s labels. Visitors can move through an unusually broad selection of wines, then bring a picnic outside and spend time beneath the property’s pine trees.
