Winery Overview
Owned by Marc and Shelley Malek, Cielo Sulla Terra occupies the former Iverson Winery property in Fair Play, where an eight-acre vineyard sits at approximately 2,400 feet in quartz-rich soils near a creek that helps keep air moving through the site. Estate vineyards produce a diverse selection of whites, estate rosés, and estate reds, complemented by fruity, fun sparkling wines that continue the property's custom-label tradition.
Guests enjoy tastings in the remodeled estate tasting room, with private and group experiences available by prior arrangement. Cielo Sulla Terra welcomes families and well-behaved pets, making it an inviting destination for a relaxed day in Fair Play. Tastings are $15 per person, waived with bottle purchase, and reservations are requested for groups of six or more.

The selection is broader than the vineyard’s nine red varieties alone might suggest. Traditional still wines share the lineup with sparkling fruit bottlings carried forward from the property’s years as Iverson Winery.
