diVittorio Winery

Winery Overview
diVittorio Winery is a family-run Camino winery led by Al and Sally diVittorio, with commercial operations dating to 2011 after winemaking began as a family project in the late 1990s. The winery produces red wines, fruit wines, and ports from El Dorado County fruit, with bottlings including Barbera, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Zinfandel, Grenache, Portuguese varietal wine, and multiple port styles.
The visitor experience is centered at Camino Wine Plaza on Carson Road, where guests can taste reds and ports in a casual Sierra Foothills setting. Expect a different emphasis than many El Dorado tasting rooms: port wines, fruit-based bottlings, and a family story connected to traditional winemaking and cave aging.
Before You Go
diVittorio is a good stop to approach through its ports and red wines rather than expecting a standard estate-vineyard profile. The winery uses El Dorado County fruit and highlights port production, including brandy made with a small on-site still.
Bring lunch if you want a slower stop, since visitors are invited to sit at tables and enjoy the setting.
