Cedarville Vineyard

Winery Overview
Cedarville Vineyard, founded by Jonathan and Susan Ofer, is an estate winery in Fair Play where all wines are grown and produced from their own certified organic vineyard at approximately 2,500 feet. The site’s decomposed granite soils and elevation support a focused Rhône varietal program, including Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Viognier, and Roussanne.
Tastings are offered by appointment, creating a more deliberate experience centered on the vineyard and its wines. Visitors can expect a focused, site-driven tasting that reflects the structure and character of estate-grown Rhône varieties in this part of El Dorado County.
Before You Go
Cedarville’s wines are entirely estate-grown and Rhône-focused, which may feel more specific compared to wineries with broader varietal ranges. The emphasis on organic farming and site expression shapes both the style and structure of the wines.
Plan ahead, as tastings are by appointment. It’s a good opportunity to take time with the wines and understand how the vineyard influences each varietal.
